Adventurers Program

Our Mission

The Adventurers program equips campers to grow in resilience, responsibility, and their relationship with God by working together through meaningful outdoor challenges and shared leadership experiences.

Program Goals

  • Explore Responsibility

    What they’ll do:
Take ownership of planning, packing, meal preparation, navigation, and group tasks for an overnight backpacking trip, with counselor guidance.

    Why it matters:
Learning responsibility teaches campers independence, accountability, and leadership while caring for themselves, others, and God’s creation.

  • Love God

    What they’ll do:
Participate in daily devotions, prayer, reflection, and faith conversations while experiencing God through time in creation.

    Why it matters:
Campers grow in their understanding of who God is, learn how faith connects to everyday life, and develop confidence in leading and sharing their faith.

  • Inspire Resilience

    What they’ll do:
Face real challenges on the trail, work through obstacles as a team, and adapt to changing plans during the backpacking trip.

    Why it matters:
Resilience helps campers build confidence, perseverance, and problem-solving skills they can carry into school, relationships, and everyday life.

 What Parents are Wondering

  • In the Adventures program, we help youth grow in their faith by developing leadership skills through fun and challenging activities. We focus on building trust and courage, especially through experiences like our high ropes course and an overnight backpacking trip, where they learn to step out of their comfort zones and rely on each other. Along with these activities, we teach youth how to love and serve others, just as Jesus did. Our goal is to create opportunities for kids to grow stronger in their faith while developing the confidence and character to lead with compassion and integrity. To learn more about our statement of faith, please go to our About section.
