Young Leaders

Program Mission

The Young Leaders program equips teens to grow in servant-driven leadership development, deepen their faith, and strengthen outdoor skills—so they can serve campers with confidence and lead like Jesus both at camp and back home.

Program Goals

  • Explore Leadership

    Application
Serve alongside counselors, help lead campers, assist with daily camp operations, lead games and activities, teach outdoor skills, and model servant-hearted leadership throughout the week.

    Purpose
These experiences help teens learn how to lead with humility, responsibility, and servant heartedness—preparing them to guide others well and serve confidently in future leadership roles outside of camp.

  • Love God

    Application
Participate in daily Bible studies, faith discussions, and prayer, and plan and co-lead a Bible study for campers.

    Purpose
Growing in faith helps teens understand who they are in Christ and what they truly believe. It encourages them to seek answers and create their own foundation of faith while giving them confidence to share their faith with others.

  • Inspire Confidence

    Application
Receive ongoing mentorship and encouragement from counselors while practicing leading and sharing their faith, stories, and experiences.

    Purpose
Confidence grows through experience. These opportunities help teens trust their abilities, find their voice, and step into leadership with courage—both at camp and beyond.
